First Day of School

Wow! How time flies! Today is the first day of school (for the kids) at All Saints! All the kids will soon be dropped off and will go to their new classrooms and, many of them, will be meeting the new Spanish teacher for the first time! This has been an eventful week, last week, we began our time as teachers at All Saints with the Ropes course and devotions. Friday was a day of 'recovery' with the Diocese of Tulsa new teacher orientation and Registration at All Saints. I was able to meet many of the parents and some of the children I will be teaching.

This week, we had CPR training and, yesterday, the last full day of In-Services before our first day with the students today.

I bought a scooter this week. It is in the shop being 'tweaked' now but I should get it back today. The gas mileage was the absolute have to decider for me. $4.50 to FILL THE TANK!!!!! Yeah, at almost 20 miles from our house to the school, it is IMPORTANT to get good gas mileage!

Oh yeah, we just finished moving too! Between a new school, a new house, and new scooter, this has been a BUSY summer!
