Little Adventures with Grandkids

On Father's Day, Madison Arroyo (Matthew and Chelsea's daughter) came over with Uncle Drew. We actually had Brody and Madison over at the same time, the two youngest grandchildren. She was precious.

Rainee and Grandpa had a "Project Day" together. We painted some shelves for the granddaughters. Rainee painted this shelf for Kadence and did the decorating. Kadence Loved it when she saw it!

Memory Lane with Rainee

Also in 2003, Grandpa and Rainee began a tradition which continues today of baking Peanut Butter Cookies together. When this was taken, Grandpa did most of the work and Rainee did the "Crisscross". When we did this a couple of weeks ago, Rainee did ALL of the cookies except for putting them in and taking them out of the oven!

Breakfast With The Millions
The Millions are guests of the Arroyos until we move to Tulsa. Since Brody remains at Hospital, we are all here in Keller, together.
On a sad note, word was received this morning that insurance will not cover moving Brody from Ft. Worth to Tulsa, where his parents live. This is going to pose a huge problem for the Millions, since they do not live in Keller anymore and the Arroyo's are moving to Tulsa soon. We are packing a good deal of our stuff and moving it this weekend, in fact.
Frances was told that they can move Brody to a Tulsa hospital BUT they would have to pay $10,000 up FRONT! Needless to say, this is not an option that is doable at the present. We need prayers friends!

Latest on Brody
Brody is still in the hospital, he will be for awhile. Despite all the contraptions, he is looking better and is off the continuous oxygen.
Corey moved with the other three kids to Tulsa but they will all be back on Tuesday. The Millions will be staying with the Arroyo's until Brody gets to go home to Tulsa. There is some positive news that they may be able to move Brody to Tulsa soon. Keep that intention in prayers.
On the home front, the Million house here is being cleaned to turn in keys today. The Arroyo's are looking for a place in Tulsa and J. is taking his PPR final test for Texas Certification on Monday (today) and we are praying for a clear head and wisdom to pass so that J. can transfer the Texas Certificate to Oklahoma.
Peace and Prayers to all of our friends and family. Thank you for your intentions for Brody. God Bless you all!

Brody Million and Frances, his Mom
This was taken just 3 days after birth. Brody is now off the O2 and is doing very well. Keep Brody in prayers. I mentioned that he was 6 to 8 weeks early in the previous post but I was wrong, his original due date was August 31st, making him 10 weeks early!

Burgers Lake, TX - a day at the 'beach'
Yes, that is Stormy Fowler, Rainee and Chloe Million waiting for the food to cook at Burgers Lake.
Alec hams it up for the camera at Burgers Lake
Linda, Stormy, Rainee and Chloe enjoying a picnic. We weren't sure we would be able to have the picnic. The wind picked up and blew a gale before our picnic and we were sure a storm would send us packing not an hour after we arrived! But, things went as planned and it died down enough for us to spend the day in the sun and water.

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
Paul and his family experienced tragedy this year and our prayers are with him, Jonathon, his girlfriend and family.
J. is halfway through the year at All Saints. I have to say a huge THANK YOU to the parents and kids at All Saints. I am humbled by the well wishes and Christmas giving of the parents. That is not the reason that I just LOVE teaching but it makes me feel so Blessed to be there. Thanks to all the kids, the parents, my co-workers, for all of their blessings!
Joe Cummins went into the hospital a few weeks ago and it looked so bleak but he is back home now. At 95, Joe continues to hold onto life and continues to bless us with his presence. Linda works for Joe and, over the years, it has become much more than a 'job' but has become a investment of her heart.
