Matthew Arroyo, EMT

This is my son, Matthew Dale Arroyo, EMT. He graduated from the EMSA Academy on Friday, April 3rd, 2009. It is an indiscribable experience to see a young man get his badge, wearing a uniform, and knowing that he is your son. He begins a career saving lives in Tulsa today!

Been awhile

My Friends and Family;

It has been awhile since I last updated this BLOG, I am sorry for the delay. Well, there have been ups and downs in our family since I last updated things.

Matthew Arroyo has begun working for Tulsa's Ambulance service, EMSA! Matthew has some great plans for himself and his family and Linda and I are very proud of him.

Michael joined me giving blood a couple of weeks ago! This was his first time giving blood and I was quite proud of him!

He also is on the way to becoming a Optometry Tech. He begins his Internship soon and should be well on the way to a very good career. Way to go Michael!

Jose' has his destiny set for awhile and will need your continued prayers and, if interested, would appreciate a letter or so.

Madison Leigh Arroyo makes a DOZEN Grandchildren!

Madison Leigh Arroyo was born at 6 pm to Chelsea and Matthew D. Arroyo in Tulsa on July 22nd, 2008. With this new 5 lb, 10 oz addition to the Arroyo family, we now have 12 Grandchildren!

Linda and I will be moving on Sunday to Tulsa where we will be able to be present to all of our grandchildren.

Last Saturday, as Pat and Christina Brown (my sister and brother-in-law) were helping us move, Frances was chasing a plane carrying Brody to Tulsa. With Brody in Tulsa, all twelve of our grandchildren are in Tulsa! Brody remains in the neonatal ICU at St. Francis Hospital but is steadily making progress. Hopefully, by the end of July, he will be able to join his sisters, Rainee and Chloe and brother Alec at their new home.

Continue to keep us in prayers, God is Good, ALL THE TIME!

Happy Second Anniversary, Matthew and Chelsea!

Sunday, October 14th, is Matthew and Chelsea Arroyo's Second Anniversary. Pictured here are a number of photos that I have taken since their wedding, including the birth of their Son, Matthew Jr., and various visits with their daughter, Amiya. They are a beautiful couple and we pray that God continues to bless their marriage and children.
God Bless Matt and Chelsea and we wish you many more years of happiness together!

A Family Evening

From Matt and Chelsea

Matthew, Jr. was all smiles Friday night when the younger Arroyo family came over for dinner. Matthew, Sr. has begun college and is taking classes in addition to his duties at the hospital. Matthew works nights and is going to school during the daytime for his Bachelor's. Matthew, Sr. is hoping to enter Medical School in the future to be a Doctor.

Chelsea and Matthew interact with Holly and Baron on the back deck. Planning is going on for our move to Texas, we are torn, it is an exciting prospect to move, teach in Texas where the pay is better. On the other hand, we are also faced with not being near Landon and his family, Jose' and his kids, Matthew and his family. There are trade offs which we have to face.

A wonderful visit from Matthew and Chelsea

The Matthew Arroyo family, my son, his wife, Chelsea, daughter Amiya, and Matthew Jr., visited for dinner last night. I cannot say that I have had a more delightful time! Amiya was a blast, so full of energy and smiles! Matthew Jr. slept most of the time but was so beautiful.

Amiya loved playing with her daddy, Matt, and keeping him VERY busy!
